In 2016, Matt Schiller reached out to Raw.Studio to help with designs for a new app. A new global economy for photographers. A world where anyone, anywhere could confidently book a photographer on-demand.
Through GownTown, Matt learnt that students graduating university always struggled to find a photographer; on-demand.
With a startup mindset, we helped the team validate and visualise improvements to their product.
With the designs produced through our Rapid Validation Workshop, the second version of Snappr.
With the product we helped strategise and design for Snappr, the team was able to produce some very promising results. This led them to making an extremely ambitious move and apply for the Y-Combinator program. With their determination, they were accepted and further raised another $2,500,000 to continue to grow the product.
After being accepted into Y-Combinator and raising $2.5m a new focus towards increasing conversions. We helped with designs for a suite of products and enhancements to maximise their channels.
After launching the second version of the product we realised the conversion rate was significantly lower on mobile. We decided to go with a mobile-first approach. We strategically:

To help Snappr convert and bring more user into the improved version of the booking flow, we came up with a few growth hack ideas to help them target different market and get a push from the buzz they will generate (ProductHunt and other media).
Those 2 websites were very successful on ProductHunt and generated the buzz expected to increase traffic through the main website.
